Candidates must have a minimum qualifying score of the NEET result 2025 cut off to get admission to medical and dental colleges. Every year, the cut-off changes according on the exam’s difficulty level, the no. of applicants, and the availability of seats. 50% for General applicants, 40% for S.C/S.T/O.B.C aspirants, and 45% for PwD aspirants are the set cut-off percentiles. High Court’s order on NEET UG Result 2025

  • The Indore bench of high court has lifted the stay on the declaration of NEET UG Exam 2025 Results andย  court has allowed NTA to declare the results of the remaining centres except the affected exam centres in Indore.
  • The court has asked the government to submit a list of affected exam centres in Indore with a detailed reply. The NEET UG exam was held on 4 May 2025 across the country, for this, 49 centres were set up in Indore, but due to heavy rain and wind, the electricity and traffic system collapsed. Power supply was disrupted in many examination centres. Therefore, the exam centres were darkened and the aspirants were forced to write the exam in candlelight.
  • On May 15, the Indore bench of the high court had issued an order staying the declaration of NEET UG results. Advocate Himanshu Joshi, appearing for the central government, told the court that the order has been issued without hearing our side. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the court that due to the chaos at some centres, it is not right to withhold the entire examination result. Advocate Mridul Bhatnagar argued on behalf of the petitioner. Justice Subodh Abhyankar ordered that the NTA can declare the results except for the affected examination centres in Indore.
