169 Indians, 53 British nationals, 7 Portuguese nationals, and 1 Canadian were among the passengers, as per Air India. A senior police official stated, “We are still verifying the number of dead, including those killed in the building where the plane crashed.” The pilot sent mayday call to the ATC but after some time ATC was not able to communicate to the pilot.
