Brief CV of Dr. Arvind Kumar Dixit
Former Member of U.P. Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Allahabad. Sectional President of 103rd Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata (Year 2015-16). Recorder, Chemical Sciences Section, Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata (Year 2012-13 & 2013-14).
He has supervised Ph. D. students and published research papers in scientific journals in the area of Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Science.
He has filed two Patents jointly with DMSRDE, Kanpur, (Lab of DRDO) and VSSD College, Kanpur as outcome of CARS Project. As Principal Investigator, he has completed two Major Research Projects, two Major Research Projects are ongoing and another Major Research Project has been sanctioned by DST, New Delhi.
Dr Dixit has contributed in ‘Ganga Manthan’, A National Dialogue on Ganga Rejuvenation, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India by Critical Analytical Study on Certain Popular Indian Detergent Powders with Respect to the Related BIS Specifications and their Environmental Impact related to insoluble mineral matter in detergents which got the attention and recognition of Ministry of Environment and also of the print media.
Member of Jury for lab level cash awards including Scientist of the Year Award for Defence Material & Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Member of Jury, INSPIRE Award Scheme, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
Expert member, review and impact study meeting of ongoing/completed field projects under Technology Mission Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
